SPRING, 2010. Welcome to the CEANY Retirees and Past CEANY Presidents’ Page on the CEANY Website.
The co-chairs of the Retirees’ Committee of CEANY are Barbara Ritchin (bsrph@aol.com) and Tom Cracovia (thomas.cracovia@qc.cuny.edu). We are hoping to present news of our retired members and Past Presidents. As an example, Barbara Ritchin recently celebrated her 70th Birthday at Malaga Restaurant in Manhattan. Over 100 people attended. Barbara is now retired after having served as President of CEANY, Executive Director of Queens College Continuing Education and Acting Dean of the School of Continuing and Professional Studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She has a successful consulting career which is ongoing.
Barabara Ritchin and Acte Maldonado, a Former CEANY President and the former Dean of Continuing Education at the Borough of Manhattan Community College are working on the Retirees and Past Presidents subcommittee for the 50th Anniversary of CEANY in 2013.
Also Tom Cracovia sent out a question on the CEANY LISTSERV asking members what they thought about having a Past Presidents’ Panel at our Conference at West Point next fall. Reaction was positive. Thank you to those that responded.
